I am removing most of my accounts from the online social community at present, as I am essentially hard resetting my life in many ways.

The following two disturbing developments from the Dyke March have come to our attention:

• They've rewritten their three stated goals. One of the three now includes explicit opposition to Zionism.

• They have banned Zionists from participating in their marches.

Needles to say, we condemn these decisions and view it as a strong negative indication of the Dyke March's committee members' morals, or lack thereof.

Zionism is the belief in the right of Israel to exist and support for its continued existence. There are numerous slanderous false definitions of Zionism, and it is a severe moral failing not to examine those definitions. The simple justification for Zionism is the following:

• At the time of UN resolution 181, which called for the establishment of Israel, the decision was based on allotting political power to Jews and Arabs based on who was the majority in each region.

• The Jews who came to British Palestine (not to be conflated with the Arab state of Palestine which declared independence in 1988) did so legitimately and purchased their land, not stealing it.

Any attempt to deny the above is revisionist history, and to deny that the above are grounds for the formation of Israel would be to apply a gross double-standard against Israel. While we do not believe that the motivation for this double-standard is animosity towards Jews, instead animosity toward a Western culture gaining political power over land that was formerly under Muslim political power, this does not absolve the Dyke March of its double-standard. These decisions indicate that the Dyke March has embraced the evil and indefensible regressive ideology, which attempts to conflate disparity with injustice.

While we realize it is in the best interests of our community to support other LGBTQIA+ organizations, this does not obligate us to support all of their decisions. There are moral absolutes, and as we acknowledge, there is a mathematical theorem proving that regressive ideology is absolutely immoral.
